Portugal National Team manager Fernando Santos has been named the 2019 manager of the year by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). The award is voted on by journalists and experts from 90 countries around the globe. Fernando Santos 2019 included leading Portugal to their second championship, winning the inaugral Nations League title on home soil and clinching a spot in next summers Euro 2020 were Portugal will be looking to defend their 2016 crown.

2- Tite (Brazil) - 102 points
3- Roberto Martinez (Belgium) - 97 points
Fernando Santos also won the award in 2016 after leading Portugal to their first silverware, winning the Euro 2016 Championship in France.
