Portugal and Spain get set for their Iberian duel in the World Cup Round of 16 with the winner getting a quarter final matchup against the Dutch. Portugal took the last of the head to head encounter between these neighbours 1-0 back in Euro 2004 on a late marker by Nuno Gomes. The Spanish look to show why they are the defending Euro Champions, while the Portuguese look to maintain their streak of clean sheets.
Portugal- Keys to Victory
The Portuguese will look to maintain their tough defense and a goal might be all that the Quinas may require in the game. The team will need to play tough but avoid yellow cards to a few players.
Spain- Keys to Victory
The Spanish will need to score early to get Portuguese to open up, the back end needs to be prepared for the Portuguese counter attack.
Portugal- Player to Watch
Ronaldo, the team captain will need to bring his game to another level against the Spaniards, the Spain back end is vulnerable and he may just exploit that.

Fernando Torres, the teams striker has been quiet during this World Cup campaign, if the giant awakens Portugal could be in big trouble.
